Charlee’s devotion to the substance use population comes from personal experiences of friends and family challenged by substance use disorder and co-occurring mental illness. Charlee earned her undergraduate degree in History from Montclair State University and her Master of Social Work from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Charlee is currently a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), and is currently working towards her Clinical Social Work license (LCSW) and Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor license (LCADC). Prior to joining The Hope Institute, Charlee gained experience in partial care and residential treatment facilitating groups, individual counseling, and family counseling sessions. Charlee also has experience as a Crisis Intervention Clinician and discharge planning.
Outside of her professional life, Charlee enjoys spending time with her partner and dogs. She also enjoys floating on the lake, snowboarding, trying new foods, and watching scary movies.
